Leonardo DiCaprio reveals why he never watched the all-time hit ‘Titanic’
DiCaprio says that he generally avoids watching his own work
Leonardo DiCaprio says one of the most famous films of his career is also one he’s never revisited.
The Oscar winner made the admission while speaking with Jennifer Lawrence for Variety and CNN’s Actors on Actors, published December 17.
When Lawrence asked if he had ever rewatched Titanic, DiCaprio replied plainly: “No. I haven’t seen it before.”
Lawrence encouraged him to give it a try now, calling the Oscar-winning film ‘so good,’ but DiCaprio explained that he generally avoids watching his own work.
“I don’t really watch my films, do you?” he asked to which Lawrence agreed.
DiCaprio has echoed that sentiment before. Speaking with Esquire in August alongside director Paul Thomas Anderson, the actor said he rarely revisits his past projects.
