Lola Young made her first public appearance in months, stepping out at Lily Allen’s Christmas party in London alongside Olivia Rodrigo, three months after collapsing onstage and announcing a hiatus from performing.

On Friday, December 19, the 24-year-old English musician wore an all black leather look featuring a plunging halter top, micro shorts and tall leather boots, accessorised with chunky silver chain link jewelry.

Moreover, at the party Lola Young was photographed with Rodrigo, who wore a vintage inspired black lace mini dress over a cream slip with black Mary jeans.

Host Allen was seen wearing a red and white Mrs. Claus inspired lingerie look with fuzzy white platform heels.

The sighting marked Young’s return to the public eye following her collapse while performing at the All Things Go music festival in New York City on September 27.

Three days later, the Grammy nominated artist announced she would be stepping back from live performances. “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future,” Young wrote in a September 30 Instagram post. “Thank you for all the love and support.”

Previously, Young then cancelled all scheduled tour dates through June including a U.K. tour set to begin October 6 and more than 20 North American shows planned through December.

The Messy singer apologised to fans, writing that she was so “so sorry to let anyone down” and that “it hurts me more than you know,” adding that ticket holders would “obviously” receive full refunds.

Lola Young added, “I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger, Love you all, Lola x.”
