‘The Great Flood’ stuns fans with thrilling race against disaster

The Great Flood film shocked fans with an exciting battle against disaster in South Korea.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Kim Byung-woo, the South Korean disaster thriller movie stars Kim Da-mi and Park Hae-soo.

According to Netflix, The Great Flood centers arounds “a massive tsunami threatens to wipe out the city of Seoul citizens have nowhere to run: This natural disaster — spurred by an asteris a worldwide extinction event. However, An-na (Kim), a researcher and single mother, is only thinking of her young son, Za-in (Kwon). As they brave the chaos, An-na realizes quickly there’s just one place to go as water floods in through the windows of her third-story apartment: up.”

The streaming platform further explained that An-na battles through terrified neighbours and dangerous looters but becomes separated from her son.

She is later rescued by Hee-jo, a quiet and mysterious man. Together, they search for Za-in but An-na begins to question Hee-jo’s true intenstions. Soon, she learns that the fate of her son, and possibly all of humanity, depends on the choices she makes.

The cast of the show includes, Kim Da-mi as Gu An-na, Park Hae-soo as Son Hee-jo, Kwon Eun-seong as Shin Za-in, Jeon Hye-jin as Im Hyeon-mo.
