Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma are celebrating six years of marriage - and they’re doing it with humor.
The couple marked their sixth wedding anniversary on Sunday, December 21, with Koma sharing a playful tribute on Instagram Stories.
Posting a photo of the pair, the musician joked, “6 years my wifey. And they said we wouldn’t make it. Literally everyone said ‘they won’t make it.’”
He then added a cheeky follow up, “that guy in the Just Jared comment section,” before insisting the two are “crushing.”
Koma went on to compare marriage to Duff to “eating Taco Bell in the late ’90s,” quipping that while it’s unpredictable, “the euphoria outweighs the tummy discomfort. And you always look cool.”
Duff kept her message simple, posting a selfie of the couple on her own Instagram Stories with the caption, “6 years into forever.”
Duff and Koma first met while working together on her 2015 album Breathe In. Breathe Out.
They were linked romantically in early 2017 and dated on and off before tying the knot just days before Christmas in 2019, per PEOPLE.
