Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner’s loved ones gathered at his sister Annie’s Los Angeles home on Sunday, one week after the couple’s tragic deaths.
Rob’s younger brother, Lucas, was seen wearing black pants, a blue button up shirt and a black jacket.
While other guests carried boxes that appeared to contain food to the family gathering.
For the unversed, the director and his 70-year-old wife were discovered stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14.
Their bodies were returned to the family on Friday following an autopsy by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, People reported.
The official causes of death were “multiple sharp force injuries,” and their deaths were ruled a homicide.
Sources previously told The Post that the couple’s daughter, Romy, found Rob and Michele’s bodies with their throats slit and multiple stab wounds.
Their son, Nick was arrested later that evening in connection with their deaths and has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
He is currently in solitary confinement at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles and remains on suicide watch, a police source told People.
Just hours before their deaths, Rob and Michele attended Conan O’Brien’s holiday party on Saturday night.
A lifelong family friend told The Post, “They had had an argument at Conan’s holiday party, and Rob Reiner had been telling people that they’re scared for Nick and scared that his mental state was deteriorating.”
Moreover, Nick Reiner was reportedly diagnosed with schizophrenia prior to the murders and TMZ reported that his medications allegedly made him act “erratic and dangerous.”
