Timothée Chalamet’s romance with Kylie Jenner has reportedly spilled into his work, with sources now detailing that the Hollywood star is actively borrowing marketing schemes from his girlfriend’s famous family.

The American-French actor, who promised to make “128 appearances” for his upcoming film’s pre-release screenings, has likely been “Kardashian-ized.”

“Timmy’s been Kardashian-ized,” a source told Page Six. “Both Timmy and Kylie are just into a different genre, the way they think about life and how they want to live.”

The insider also claimed that Chalamet currently “has pretty lofty goals.”

“All big actors get to be full of themselves, it’s par for the course. He really cares about the craft for sure, he’s an actor with a capital A,” added another source. “But he’ll say ‘I don’t want to promote this movie using the old playbook and doing the same types of interviews… He’ll say ‘Let’s make it fun, let’s do it different way.’”

However, it was also noted that he conducts his star persona a certain way to connect with his fans, who “love him”.

“His fans love him and he definitely knows how to speak to his fans and interact and it’s really important to him,” the source said.

On the other hand, when it comes to his relationship, he prefers to be “pretty quiet”.

“Timmy’s pretty quiet about Kylie. But he’s pretty private as a person,” one industry source revealed.

Though it is a preference which is echoed by Jenner as well, with the source adding, “They both want to be their own person, for sure. They’ll do some promo, but for the rest they want to keep things between them.”

“It’s definitely a smarter play than how Kylie’s other sisters have handled their own love lives in the public eye,” it was further claimed.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner recently made headlines when they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme in co-ordinated orange looks.

Chalamet’s film has since recorded the biggest opening for a limited release in 2025, grossing $875,000 from only six venues across New York City and Los Angeles.
