Shocking detail in Rob Reiner murder revealed

Another shocking detail in the murder case of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner has been revealed.

The 78-year-old Harry Met Sally filmmaker and his 70-year-old wife were tragically found dead in their Los Angeles home on December 14, 2025.

According to PEOPLE, the new documents confirmed on Tuesday, December 23, that the deceased couple.

It’s worth mentioning here that TMZ was first to report the death certificate details.

Now, as per their official death certificates, they died of "multiple sharp force injuries", caused "with [a] knife, by another."

Moreover, the time between the onset of injuries and death is listed as "minutes."

The death certificates indicate Rob was found first, at about 3:45 p.m., and his wife, who is listed as "widowed," was discovered at 3:46 p.m.

The deceased couple has been cremated as their bodies were sent back to the family on December 19.

Their middle child, Nick Reiner, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and is being held without bail.

Nick, who was treated for schizophrenia prior, briefly appeared in court on December 17 but has not yet entered a plea.
