Tom Blyth claps back at critic over Daniela Norman’s ‘vulgar’ dress

Tom Blyth has hit back at an online critic who targeted his girlfriend Daniela Norman, over her outfit at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

The 31-year-old actor shared photos from the March 15 event on Instagram, where he wore a black suit while Norman opted for a sheer blue dress that sparked attention online. 

While many praised the couple’s appearance, one user criticized Norman’s look as “vulgar” and “inappropriate.”

Blyth responded directly to the comment, defending his partner and shutting down the criticism. “stfu. 

She wore a dress that she was excited by, and she looked EXQUISITE in it,” he wrote.

The couple attended the high-profile event following a series of joint public appearances, including their red carpet debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025. 

Since then, they have been seen together at major industry events such as the BFI London Film Festival and Paris Fashion Week.

The incident highlights ongoing conversations around body image and online scrutiny, particularly when it comes to women’s fashion choices at public events.

Other figures have also recently pushed back against similar criticism. 

Model Bryana Holly, wife of actor Nicholas Hoult, responded to body-shaming comments about her own outfit at the same event, emphasizing that such judgments are often misguided.

Despite the online backlash, Blyth’s response signals firm support for Norman, as the couple continues to navigate public attention while keeping much of their relationship private.
