Ryan Gosling has unintentionally turned a small Florida bakery into a viral sensation after praising its pastries during a late-night TV appearance.

While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the actor gave an unexpected shoutout to a family-run business in Tallahassee, highlighting its homemade Pop-Tarts.

The bakery, Cake Shop Bakery, is owned by Linda Richards, the sister of a longtime Saturday Night Live staff member.

During the interview, Gosling credited SNL dresser Donna Richards and casually mentioned her sister’s bakery, urging viewers to try the pastries. He even revealed his favorite flavor: strawberry.

The brief mention quickly translated into real-world impact.

“I did not know that was coming. It was a total shock,” Linda Richards told a local outlet, describing the moment she learned about the shoutout.

Since then, she says the response has been overwhelming, with the bakery receiving thousands of requests and calls from customers across the country.

The sudden surge in demand has pushed the small business into the national spotlight, with fans rushing to place orders, some requesting large quantities of the now-famous treats.

The bakery’s Pop-Tarts, already a favorite among Saturday Night Live hosts and guests, have now gained a much wider audience thanks to Gosling’s endorsement.

What began as a casual mention on television has quickly turned into a booming moment for the local shop, underscoring the powerful influence of celebrity recommendations in the digital age.
