Jesse Williams reportedly marries Alejandra Onieva in private ceremony

Jesse Williams has reportedly tied the knot with Spanish actress Alejandra Onieva in a private and low-profile ceremony, marking a new chapter in the former Grey’s Anatomy star’s personal life.

According to TMZ, the couple quietly married several months ago, opting to keep the ceremony entirely out of the public eye. No official announcement was made at the time, and details surrounding the wedding have been kept strictly private.

Williams, 44, and Onieva first met in 2025 while working together on the television series Hotel Costiera, which was filmed along Italy’s Amalfi Coast. 

Their relationship reportedly developed soon after, with the pair later spotted together in Madrid in early autumn of last year.

The couple continued to make low-key public appearances, including attending a film premiere in Rome and appearing together at the San Sebastián Film Festival in Spain, further fueling speculation about their relationship before the reported marriage.

The wedding marks a significant personal milestone for Williams, following his divorce from real estate agent Aryn Drake-Lee, which was finalised in 2020 after a prolonged legal dispute.

Their split, which began in 2017, evolved into a lengthy court battle involving custody arrangements, financial settlements, and co-parenting disagreements. 

At one point, Drake-Lee sought sole custody, while Williams contested parenting terms, resulting in ongoing mediation and court oversight.

In 2018, Williams was ordered to pay more than $50,000 per month in spousal support in addition to child support obligations, further intensifying legal proceedings between the former couple. 

Even after the divorce was finalised, aspects of their co-parenting arrangement reportedly remained under structured court guidance due to continuing disputes.
