Salman Khan has sent shock waves through the internet following his latest interaction with Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal at the 2023 IIFA awards press conference event in Abu Dhabi.

A behind-the-scene video from the glam event has gone viral on the internet, in which Salman Khan's security team can be seen pushing Vicky away as he tries to greet the Tiger Zinda Hai star.

In the much-talked-about clip, fans can see as Salman enters the venue, Vicky, who was clicking selfies with fans, was seen being pushed away by the Dabangg star’s security personnel.

The video outraged the Raazi actor’s fans as they called out Salman Khan and his security staff for pushing Vicky away.

"Disrespectful bodyguard," one fan commented while another added, “why didn't Salman speak to Vicky when he is giving him so much respect.”

While some fans dubbed the entire interaction “distasteful” and Salman’s security people “rude”, others speculated that Vicky’s wife and Salman’s former love-interest Katrina Kaif might be the reason behind Salman’s cold behavior.

“Salman and Vicky Kaushal’s heated moment…is Katrina Kaif the reason?” wrote one internet user.

Salman’s fans defended his stance saying that the actor needs strict security amid death threats. “Aam admi ki tarah side me kardia but we all know the security reason for Salman khan."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has recently finished shooting for his next film, Tiger 3, which also stars Vicky Kaushal’s now-wife, Katrina Kaif.
