Superstar Mahira Khan is willing to contribute to the Indian scene through her new show Yaar Julahay.

Khan made her Bollywood debut with the film Raees alongside her crush Shah Rukh Khan.

Yaar Julahay is not a normal romantic or action thriller as it rather focuses on a bunch of dramatic readings that bring in the stories of legendary writers from the Indian subcontinent featuring the likes of Gulzar, Saadat Hasan Manto, Ismat Chughtai, and Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi.

Along with Khan, other Pakistani stars are also looking to take part such as   Sarwat Gilani, Nimra Bucha and Faysal Qureshi, who would turn the storytellers. 

It is important to know that the four episodes of Yaar Julahay  will broadcast over four  weekends. 

The Humsafar star would read out Qasmi's story aloud   in the first episode of the show while the fourth and last episode will be closed on by none other than Faysal  as he will  utter  Manto's story. 

About her return to the television space, Khan  revealed, “I am excited to have this opportunity to connect with the Indian audience once again through Zindagi."
