Gordon Ramsay to celebrate 60th birthday in new Netflix series
Netflix hopes music superstar Adele will perform at the chef’s milestone party
Gordon Ramsay is gearing up for another Netflix series, this time celebrating his milestone 60th birthday later this year.
The new six-part follow-up to Being Gordon Ramsay will chronicle the chef’s life, family, and star-studded birthday festivities.
Netflix reportedly hopes to include music superstar Adele in the celebrations, as Ramsay and his wife Tana plan a joint party marking his 60th and her 51st birthdays.
“Being Gordon Ramsay is Netflix’s biggest non-scripted series ever,” a source told The Sun.
“The appetite for a second show was absolutely huge, and when the idea of cataloguing Gordon reaching his milestone 60th was mooted, Netflix jumped at the chance.”
The series will follow Ramsay and his family, including his six children — Megan, 27; twins Holly and Jack, 26; Tilly, 24; Oscar, seven; and Jesse, two — while also featuring potential celebrity cameos and behind-the-scenes moments from the lavish birthday bash.
Ramsay has previously expressed his admiration for Adele, recalling seeing her perform in Las Vegas and noting her love of food.
“She’s an incredibly gracious, talented woman, and a real foodie, which is nice,” he said, adding that he hopes she can perform at their joint birthday celebration.
The chef has also opened up about his family life in the original Being Gordon Ramsay series, revealing the challenges he faced growing up with an alcoholic father.
“I sadly had a torrid relationship with my father… I just want to get out of the s*** mess I was born in,” he said.
The new series is expected to continue highlighting both his personal and professional life, offering fans an intimate look at Ramsay as he hits this major milestone.
