Kate Middleton has more than eased into her royal duties post cancer treatment, as evident on St. Patrick’s Day, Monday.

The Princess of Wales made a solo appearance at parade celebrating the holiday.

She paid a visit to the Irish Guards for the annual parade, and marked the event with half a pint of Guinness, the famous Irish beer.

The Princess, who shares three children with Prince William, appeared at the parade without her husband.

Mother of Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, Kate wore a green Alexander McQueen coat, a matching hat, with gloves and knee-high boots for the occasion.

The princess celebrated as the Irish Guards commemorated their 125th anniversary this St. Patrick’s Day. They are part of the British Army regiments.

She also left money for the regiment behind the bar, telling them, “It’s the least I can do.”

Prince William’s wife became the honourary Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022, after taking over the role from her husband.

The Prince of Wales had served in the role since 2011, before being promoted as Colonel of the Welsh Guards to honour his new title as the Prince of Wales.

This was the future queen’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade attendance since 2023, as she was forced to miss the event last year due to her cancer diagnosis.

The ceremony took place at Wellington Barracks in London, where Kate also awarded soldiers returning from Iraq with medals for Long Service and Good Conduct before the parade began.
