Rumors of World Wrestling Entertainment being sold to Saudi Arabia have been making rounds recently.

However, no deal has yet been officially confirmed or even addressed by the company executives.

The company sales rumors have been louder since Nick Khan was elected as the new WWE CEO.

According to the latest updates from the company, former chief Vince McMahon was elected as the executive chairman of the board and Stephanie McMahon resigned from his position of Chairwomen. However, there is no official statement made by the company that would again go private.

Stephanie McMahon announced resigning at that time when Twitter went ablaze with reports that Vince McMahon had already sold WWF to Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.

Stephanie announced her resignation in a statement posted on Twitter.

"I look forward to cheering on WWE from the other side of the business, where I started when I was a little kid, as a pure fan," she said.
