Meghan Markle traces father to ‘several hospitals’ after Thomas Markle’s denial
Thomas Markle previously denied receiving any communication from Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle is still trying to establish contact with her hospitalised father, Thomas Markle, after he claimed in previous reports that his daughter has not reached out to him.
According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex “has personally called several hospitals to try and locate her father without luck”.
The former TV director underwent leg amputation surgery over the weekend and has been receiving subsequent treatment in a Philippines hospital, where he had relocated to earlier this year.
Meghan’s representative had initially reported the confirmation that “she has reached out to her father” — a claim refuted by Thomas himself, who told the Mail on Sunday that he was “confused” by the reports and that the e-mail contacted by his daughter is one which hasn’t been in his use since five years.
Meghan Markle and Thomas Markle remain estranged since 2018, when the Duchess’ father was found to have staged paparazzi shots of himself preparing for her wedding to Prince Harry.
