Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s trial postponed until May next year
The judge made the announcement during a hearing on Tuesday
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s highly anticipated civil trial has been delayed.
According to People, the case, originally set to begin on March 9, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, will now start on May 18.
The judge, Lewis J. Liman, made the announcement during a hearing on Tuesday, December 9. He explained that he has two criminal trials scheduled, which take priority over civil cases.
The next hearing for the Lively-Baldoni case is set for January 22, when oral arguments on summary judgments will be heard.
Lively filed the lawsuit in December 2024, accusing her It Ends With Us director-costar Baldoni and others of sexual harassment and retaliation.
Baldoni denies the allegations. Lively is seeking more than $160 million in damages.
