Donald Trump's wife, Melania Trump, the former First Lady of the United States, delivered an emotional eulogy at her mother Amalia Knavs' funeral.

According to Fox News, at The Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, the ex-First Lady expressed her thoughts on Thursday, “My mother, the epitome of elegance and grace, exemplified the essence of a true woman.”

She added, “Her love for her husband, Viktor, my father; Ines, my sister; and me was boundless. Her nurturing spirit had no limits, creating a legacy that will last for generations.”

Melania,53, fondly recalled Knavs as a gentle grandmother who lavished care and affection on both her and Barron, “with affection, illuminating his world with love, tender care, and unwavering devotion.”

“She embodied the best mother, wife, grandmother, mother-in-law, a true beacon of love and luxury in our lives,” the former model continued.

The ex-first lady reminisced about listening to her mother's stories from her time in the fashion industry while journeying through Paris and various European destinations.

These narratives not only imparted the significance of "couture" to her but also instilled in her a passion for fashion.

“She was a creator of dreams, and I am forever grateful for the beauty she brought into my life,” she added.

Melania said, “From managing the household to pursuing her own ambition in fashion, she never ceased to amaze with her resilience and determination.”

The mother-of-one underscored her mother's significance, noting her Slovenian roots and emphasizing her “privilege” for embracing the opportunity to become a U.S. citizen in 2018 alongside her father, Viktor Knavs, during Donald's presidency at the age of 77.

She went on to say that during her tenure in office from 2017 to 2021, Amalija was the most significant supporter for both her and Donald, “She vowed to contribute to make a difference in the world filled with uncertainty,” s

Melania continued, “She [had an] exquisite sense of pride as my husband became the President of the United States and as I embarked on a grand odyssey, traveling the corners of the globe as the first lady.”

“My father, my sister, Barron, Donald and I will forever remember the echoes of our laughter that we share with our beloved Babi over family dinners and travels. Her conversations flowed effortlessly, adorned with grace and charm. No topic was off limits,” she stated

Melania emphasized that Amalija transcended the role of a mere mother, portraying her as both a cherished "friend" and a trusted "confidante," a radiant presence that illuminated even the bleakest moments.

She shared, “In her presence, the world seemed to shimmer with radiant joy,” adding, “She celebrated our successes and provided unwavering support during chaotic times. Our bond was unbreakable.”

The ex-fashion designer maintained her composure as she wrapped up her tribute, expressing that her mother remained calm “an irreplaceable treasure.”

“And for that, I am entirely grateful. Rest in peace, my beloved mommy,” she finished.

Accompanied by Donald and their 17-year-old son, Barron, Melania attended the Episcopal church for the funeral service.

The former president's daughters from his prior union with Ivana Trump, namely Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump, also attended to pay their respects.

Melania conveyed the news of Amalija's passing at the age of 78, following an undisclosed illness, in an announcement made on X (formerly Twitter) on January 9th.
