Kate Middleton and Eugene Levy shared a warm moment at her “Together at Christmas” carol service hosted by Princess of Wales.

As per PEOPLE report, on December 5, the Schitt’s Creek co-creator made a surprise appearance at Kates’ fifth annual holiday event at Westminster Abbey, where they chatted about his recent royal adventures, including a personal tour of Windsor Castle with Price William.

For the unversed, Eugene had recently welcomed William onto an October episode of his Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler during which the prince gave him a private tour and opened up about how 2024 had been “the hardest year I've ever had,” following the cancer diagnosis announcements of Princess Kate and King Charles.

A video shared by Hello! magazine on Instagram, captured Kate and Eugene's warm introduction at the holiday event.

“Very nice to see you,” the future queen said, shaking Eugene’s hand as he stood to greet her. “I should stand. Lovely to meet you, Catherine,” the American Pie actor replied.

With a laugh, the mother-of-three added, “You know my husband very well then,” and Eugene responded, “I spent a lovely day with your husband.”

She went on to joke, “Good, I hope you looked after him,” to which the 78-year-old said, “He did look after me, yes, he did.”

Their conversation even touched on the family dog, Orla. Princess of Wales asked, “Did you get to meet our dog?”

To which the Best in Show star admitted, “Well, I'm a bit of a dog whisperer myself, but the cookies helped.”

Eugene Levy also noted it was his “first day in action” at the Abbey.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the carol service with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis continuing the festive tradition they began in 2021.
